WHITEHORSE Estates partnered City Spirit Developments in a Joint Venture with Warwick District Council and The Loft Theatre Group to redevelop Spencers Yard – a ‘Gateway’ development to Old Town Leamington.
The concept included the refurbishment and extension of the existing United Reform Church into a new state of the art regional theatre and the redevelopment of the existing Loft Theatre premises and adjacent ‘Dole’ office into an exciting 30,000 sqft mixed use building to accommodate modern office, retail and residential accommodation.
With City Spirit Developments, Whitehorse Estates provided full Development Management services which included securing the Joint Venture, negotiating a £5m funding package with the regional development agency, Advantage
West Midlands, and achieving detailed Planning Permission for both schemes.
