Redditch Eastern Gateway
Acting on behalf of one of two principal landowners, Whitehorse Estates has been involved in the strategic promotion of circa 70 acres of greenfield land within 4 miles of the M42 (Junction 3). The land is now allocated within emerging local plans as a ‘Gamechanger’ site straddling the Stratford-Upon-Avon and Bromsgrove District Boundaries and adjoining Redditch town centre.
Greenbelt: Complex infrastructure arrangements; heritage Issues and sensitive ecology have been all been hurdles that have had to be overcome to secure the allocations.
A £2m infrastructure funding package has also been secured from the Local Enterprise Partnership following a collaborative arrangement being entered into with the adjoining landowner (The Homes and Community Agency) to unlock the site.
Whitehorse Estates was retained to represent the landowner in the selection of a preferred Development Partner and continues to be the Landowners representative under suite of development & funding agreements.
